History
California Partnership (CAP) was founded in 2003. CAP came together out of grave concern about TANF re-authorization. Our efforts focus issues that affect very low-income women and families. People who are working low-income jobs, people who are on CalWORKs, CalFresh or other income supports, people who are dependent on state services, people who receive child care subsidies, people with disabilities, immigrant and undocumented people, people who utilize health care programs, people who are homeless, living in, or seeking affordable housing, formerly and currently incarcerated people, we work to improve the social safety net for all people.
